today supposed to have outing with the office pple. gg east coast park to cycle again but it rained heavily so the outing was postponed. anw a lot of pple cld not make it. another thing is last night all of us work till very late. we had this catering for 500 pple at FIAT. they are launching a new car...the FIAT Bravo so they had a show n invited n lot of pple. We went to set up on thurs evening and set up till 11pm. then yest i was service staff but in the morning i still had to go down to the factory n help out in the kitchen. imaging urself doing the display of a particular food item for 500 odd pple. There are some other food items whh needed to be displayed nicely n hence my aunt get some other staff frm the other outlets to come dwn to the kitchen side to help out. even though it's tiring, working in the kitchen is not as boring as doing office work. Anws...this is the first time i get to experience this kind of function. The manager of some other staff i dunno will drive the new car out n everybody will 'woooo~" and then explore the new car n those higher-level female staff are dressed in gowns. I'm proud of my aunt. She decorated the whole eating area till very nice. But it's through eating of buffet dat u see singaporeans 丑陋的一面. everything also take but eat only one bite. and they just throw their plates anywhere. We had to clean up needless to say. By the time we left it was 10+, considering qutie early when most of us started work at 8am n my aunt reached the factory at 6am n there's 3 big functions on that day itself. kudos to those working in the catering business =)
past few wks...nth much happen but i also duno why i din update my blog...haha...forget what i do at night le...watching tv? i slept early? doing office work? can't rem...jus rem i went for the hip hop workshop n i spent my 21st birthday overnight at my grandma's hse looking at photos of my aunts n uncles when they're young n also me n my cousins baby photos. nth special...
next wk gonna be the end of my intern. the last wk gonna help out at rag. this yr's rag gg to be at padang! quite stupid la. how to move all the floats dere? seal off some roads? siao...but it's grand to see a lot a lot of NUS students gathering at padang for the biggest event of the new academic yr! i love sch life...
