My blog is breeding ground for cobwebs now. lol.
Anw work has been quite busy so far especially with the opening of the new outlet last last Thurs. With the half page colored ad on Today newspaper, the restaurant was already fully-booked for lunch, hi-tea and dinner for last sat and sun, and also fully booked for this and next saturday and sunday for dinner. And we're seriously under-staffed. These few days i was working at the restaurant instead and I met my prof yesterday when he came to our restaurant for lunch. haha. Phone calls rang non-stop and I was working from home for last Sat and Sun, for the staff over at the restaurant was too busy to pick up the phone calls and it was diverted to my hp and i was to take down reservations from home. Seriously, the calls came in non-stop. I wore my ear-piece and just keep pressing and pressing to answer one call after another. Could not even have a proper lunch at home for i was eating and answering and taking down reservations at the same time.
Then mum was not happy that i went over to aunt's place to work. Supposedly to work office hours and she thought everything was so ambiguous that i had to work on weekends and now for this week i had to go to the restaurant and worked for long hours as service staff. But i kind of expected this kind of thing to happen very often the moment i decided to come over.
Had also done a lot of thinking after i joined my aunt's company. My pay is really meagre even though job agencies would say that this is the market rate now. But i'm working in a SME, and my pay is considered not bad le among the other staff. Ok my take-home pay is only less than 1.8. Then again, i need of save up to clear my bank loans. Was thinking of saving 1K to repay the loans. and I need to give my mum money le since i start working alr. Minus transport. I can eat grass le. How to save up for future ne? Like applying for house and stuff...cannot get married in the near future le...hahaha...Bank loans dun even noe need to take how many years to return. And i was thinking of taking up tuition on one weekend to earn more income. But then again my working hours not really fixed. If my aunt needs help i will definitely go and help out like gg to help set up corporate catering and stuff. Plus I can learn more as well...and so....I need to prioritize and make some sacrifices....
