What are your favourite picks from TCC?
I went to TCC @ Changi Airport T3 last evening with the objective to eat my favourite picks - Penne Mama Mia and Dark Devotion. These are the chef's recommendations as well.
Here's what we ordered:
Snacks: Mozza Sticks
Filled with a generous serving of mozzarella cheese. The cheese texture is very different from those mozzarella cheese you found on pizzas. The texture is like chewing gum! The tomato salsa dip, with its herb and sourly taste, makes this light bite a wonderful combination.
Main:
1. Penne Mama Mia
This is a must-try! Rich and creamy, with generous serving of cheese toppings. All the baked penne had absorbed the essence the cream sauce. Contains carrots and diced chicken. The boy is loving it!
2. Olive and Mushroom Pomodoro Tagliatelle
I have a thing for pasta with tomato paste because the sour taste opens up my appetite. Furthermore we ordered one cream pasta so the other one it's better to order a non-cream one.
It tastes like any other spaghetti bolognese but it would be better if the sauce contains some real tomatoes instead of just the puree. The sauce is a bit too much and the peppery taste is too strong.
But overall, it's still nice and most important, a healthier choice!
Now it's the time for dessert! While we are almost done with our mains, the service staff is nice enough to ask if we would like our dessert to be served as the Dark Devotion will take 15 mins preparation time. We agreed and only had to wait for about 5 minutes after our mains for our dessert to be served.
Warm chocolate cake with chocolate lava oozing out. Topped with vanilla ice-cream, the warm and cold combination with the rich chocolatey taste makes this dessert one which can cheer a person up when he/she is feeling down. I would call this a divine dessert indeed.

Order yourself a tea instead of those frappe or coffee to cleanse your tastebuds from all the heavy taste.
Camomile tea with honey is good to calm the nerves and makes you feel relaxed. The camomile from TCC contains a tinge of peppermint as well. But i prefer one without the mint =)
TCC is currently having a one-for-one pasta promotion till 22nd July.
It's really very worth it.
