The big day had arrived. Supposedly everyone had to reach there by 9am. Me and Jia Xin took cab down to realise that we're the first one dere. Slowly the crew members and committee members came and some of the jazz girls but the rest of the groups...We're supposed to have a full run at 10am...but the performers only the jazz people came...really demoralised and we're just rotting in the changing room, occasionally to run out to the stage and practiced on our own, marked the positions ourselves. Quite angry la...cos we waste like 5 hrs doing nothing. By 2 pm slowly everyone came...and drag and drag and finally the full run starts at 4+...so in between the performers changed into their costumes and do our make-up and hair. In the end, we still dun have time to run through the finale, as in what we're supposed to do after our dance ended...and it's only 1 hr more to the performance...
7pm the show started...starting was well...ok still quite smooth...until when we were to go out for frankie j dance then we saw the puddle of water in the center of the stage...oh yeah elaine and maurice those 2 dancing in front had to avoid the puddle. ok still quite well and then we went backstage to change for the finale dance-the highlight of the whole musical...the spotlights made me feel very giddy when doing fort minor and i really cannot see the edge of the stage and lost balance after the first turn but lucky din fell down and its not obvious.haha...then after our dance ended...we're lost on stage! cos we din rehearse this part at all! Everything was jus impromptu, even the curtain call..oh wells...finally our first show ended le...
After performance we went to meet our frens... some phototaking and then we went bck to the changing room(it was in a mess), packed our stuff, went home and the next day the sequence will repeat again...
