Hell Wk
This wk is hell for me. Been holding 2 jobs. Morning go office and then evening go to my another aunt's cafe to help out. Here's my daily routine:
6.45am: Wake up
7.45am: Take bus to office
9.15am: Reach office and start work
5.00pm: Leave office and travel to bishan park to my cousin's cafe
7.oopm: Reach the cafe and start work
1.00am: End work and dad fetch me home
1.45am: Finish bathing and do my intern stuff
3.45-4.00am: Sleep
and the routine repeats again...
i'm stressed by my intern stuff. First day at work my uncle had a meeting with me and tell me his idea of implementing this system in the company and he asked me to check out some books in HSS lib, read to understand some of the concepts and then write him a REPORT on how to implement it in the company. This concept i learned before while taking Managerial Accounting. He also wants me to read up on Michael Porter's Diamond Model on the 5 competitive forces which i also learned in APB this sem. Then the meeting ended at only 1.30pm and he said i can go home and the following 2 days(thurs and fri; i start work on wed) i dun need to go office, jus need to go lib and read those stuff. Lol...first day of work and i only worked for 1/2 day. So after that is just reading and reading and meeting with him to get ideas for what to write for my report(which i haven even started until now...hahax). But the thing is in the evening i need to go to my cousin's cafe and work(I hate working there, mind you) and ask my uncle to negotiate with my aunt/cousin to say i have a lot of office work to do cos everyday i go office i will fall asleep. And i shouldn't take my intern so lightly! And i have to do this for 2 wks i could have die...But i have to thank my uncle for allowing me to take my stuff home to do on thurs and fri so dat i can dun need to go office for 2 days and wake up later in the mornings...
Lucky, an hr ago my aunt called to say i dun need to go le cos they have another part-time worker liao. Yeay! i dun have to rush here and dere for one wk and have more time to sleep, if not start working on my report...
Thought this intern is really a difficult task cos there are a lot of details to consider and you really have to consider the practicalities of your solutions, i wan to take up this challenge cos it's also interesting as well =) Really admire my uncle. He's really gt the brains...
Yest went for jazz meeting-meeting for the new committee. i'm the secretary.hahax! which i think really suits me for everyone says i'm organised. which i am =P Even for project meetings etc everyone will ask me to take down notes so dat's why i am suitable for the job. hahax. Hope we will be a dynamic team and recruit more people into jazz next sem, esp guys. If not poor Maurice can continue to be the only guy in jazz.hahahax~
Met Jasmine on thurs when i was on my way to the cafe. They jus ended training. It saddends me to think that this yr i won't be able to go down and support them for the Nationals when every year i had been going down...Really mixed feelings. On the one hand i dun feel like i wan to have anything to do with gym any more but on the other hand i jus can't bear to let it go...
